try cropping the picture on Photoshop, then resize it to make it look like its gromit's head. or even better, try and get a picture of gromit and then put knifes around it, to make people see that its gromit, but reminds them of ratatouille.

Do what niallswand said and get Photoshop and delete the background around Gromit's body. Photoshop is great to use to make posters like u have done. I am a HND Graphic Design student at college, i use Photoshop all the time.

My suggestion would be to first use the stamp tool to block out Remy's head. Then rotate the top image (Gromitt's head) so that the neckline looks more at a natural position. Right now its more level than the body. Select W&G background with a magic wand, and use the eraser with variations on the opacity levels to blend the beige with the dark gray.
