No, I just make models, although I have downloaded an animation software trial once. I don't have any particular goals in this area, so I just make things as and when I feel moved to. I won't be surprised if I end making some very short films in the future, though, just nothing ambitious.

cool i used to just make models with no armatures then i thot oh ill try an animation then the model fell apart so im learning how to do it, well armatures. here is a pic of the dinosaurs jaw opening.

It will open and close, and roar with the help of a roar sound effect

hopefully it will be good but sometimes you have high expectations of something and it doesnt turn out like you want. It will be done on greenscreen so a forest will be in the background, if anything it will be a good laugh trying to animate this as well as totally frustrating.

Ah, I know the feeling...sometimes it is more the process than the result, however, I don't doubt this project will be impressive.

I think one of my favourite Creations is Micheal2007's Anti Pesto Wallace that came runner up, that was a very good model and I would love to see his models up as a animation.

dinosaur animation is going ok i have finnaly started so far all he has done is run through the forest and kick a rabbit out the way anyone else doing a animation at the moment?

I am working on one, I have the wood for the sets and now I have to get the set materials, I have not made the character yet but you will all know who it is (if its good) and I will start animating as soon as everything is ready, I have good plans for it.

Squigly, no Preston will not be in it, unfortunatly as making that was fun but it is too heavy to animate. It will be an Aardman character that is going to be in it and it is going to be very fun to make, I will be using... Newplast, Sculpey, FIMO, B&Q stuff, Wood... and theres proberly more than that, it will proberly be a set I will keep safe as I can do lots more different animation with it.

hehehe!!!!! mums here laughing her head off!!!! mums artistic talent goes as far as cutting hair and decorating!!!! dad says shes pritty good at spending money if thats a talent

i guess im more from my dads side of the family they are all very artistic my uncle was on the gadget show a few weeks back with a design of a water fuelled car, my grandad was an arcitect and an engineer tool maker, and my dad does wood carving.

My artistic ( or lack of, in some ways) side comes from my mum's my cousins work is like wow !!! She has an exhibition in SA!!!
I'll post a link of some of her work later.

And I can't cut hair for anything. I'd look better walking around with hair I sculpted from plasticine than one of my home snips. I am quite impressed by hairdressers really!

its rather cool having a hairdresser as a mum, it only costs me a kiss for a hair cut. bargin!!!!!

I don't let my mum NEAR my hair at all, my sister cuts her on fringe now as it always ends in some disaster, including almost no fringe at all or the hair is way to short. ( mind you i haven't had it cut since year 5!)

Not that long, My hair is wavy so you can't really see how long it is until it is wet and then it is about waist length.

oh yeah conty the animation is going good ill post the title sequence which i have done soon just need to get my backdrop back from a friend who is getting eaten in the film

Ursrut I don't cut my hair much either, as I've already said I'm rubbish myself, and it costs me more than a kiss for a proper cut! That's a steal and no mistake, Conty. I'm not certain what would result if I let mom cut my hair... there are a few artists on both sides of my family but of fairly modest talent Perhaps I'll show her a picture of Piella and just see what happens

My not very artistic talent (but getting better) is from my dad who was an artist, and still is kind of, he has done painting, photography and drawing, he can also sculpt aswell so thats lucky. When I had an operation done on me when I was little I was scared so my dad was reading a comic with me to make me not think about what was happening, then I was gone, all done and dusted!

Your dad sounds loverly, Harry, and I think you're a good artist, it seems that the talent comes through. I agree you have also been getting even better over the last year from what I've seen.
