StuartRead Posted: Nov 5th 2008

I'm glad he won, he was a worthy winner. I wanted him to win from the beginning, as I prefered him over Hilary Clinton. It was a nice birthday present to hear that he had won! Yes, it is my birthday today :D

gromitcool Posted: Nov 5th 2008

yeah i think he will do awesome as a president i think he deserved to win but mcain was a very humble and worthy opponet

koichi Posted: Nov 5th 2008

GamePadVader Posted: Nov 5th 2008

Yeah

cheesefanatic Posted: Nov 5th 2008

yay!

satsu Posted: Nov 5th 2008

You know it isn't all Bush's falt. Clinton was the one that started the war and sent our troops over there.8)

plasjas Posted: Nov 5th 2008

HOOORAH go Obama

Lucky Ducky 13 Posted: Nov 5th 2008

Obama will promise a better future for not only Americans but also for America's allies, and it's about time!
:)
Also in response to satsu, Clinton did not start the war. That was a completely different war. In fact if you trace America's troubles in the Middle-east, they go back about half a century.

jills Posted: Nov 5th 2008
:D

I'm just so happy!

Fish Posted: Nov 5th 2008

No,Satsu, it was Bush who started both wars after 9/11/2001. Clinton left office with a vastly reduced national debt, an otherwise strong economy, and no wars - other than a "police action" here and there. Now the economy is a mess and the USA is in two wars.

I hope Obama can deliver on his campaign promises...

jills Posted: Nov 5th 2008

I think that all Obama has really promised is to work hard in leading us to tackle the issues that have been mounting in the US and in the global market in a sober and dignified manner, putting an emphasis on health care, job loss, energy policy and education- I think he'll help us do that. I voted as much for his character as for those promises.

Fish Posted: Nov 5th 2008

Yeah...I agree about his character. But fixing health care, generating more jobs, etc. are not easy tasks. He will work hard - of this I am sure.

jills Posted: Nov 5th 2008

Yes, there's a lot to muck through :-| I think he would need a second term to turn things around as much as we're hoping. And all Americans will have to do their part as much as he will- being vigilant of our representatives and minding the future as much as the present.

HOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY:DYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!
