Hi! These are my first models please feel free to give your opinions and say improvements!:D

DancingShauny99 Posted: May 4th 2009

They are quite good for your first models!

cheesefanatic Posted: May 4th 2009

thanks, what do you think would improve them?:)

Lozi101 Posted: May 4th 2009

maybe a bit bigger? try spending longer on them, perfecting them
they are good though!

plasjas Posted: May 4th 2009

cool a bit small but good. i would advise bigger so you can get more detail.

cheesefanatic Posted: May 5th 2009

yeah, threy are small, although i didn't have much plastercine left so i made them small but thank you for your advice!:)

wallace295 Posted: May 5th 2009

I made a model Wallace out of Play dough once the picture went fuzzy,we lost the camera copy lead and I took it apart before we could take anthor photo with the other camera!

cheesefanatic Posted: May 5th 2009

oh, what a shame! so do you like mine?:)

wallace295 Posted: May 5th 2009

Yeah but no offence but aren't wallacee's cheeks a little "splodged" out?

cheesefanatic Posted: May 5th 2009

666joshy666 Posted: Jan 3rd 2010

Great models! Try buying some more plasticine to make them a bit bigger but apart from that, awesome!:D PLASJAS! Where have you been, man!

Clay Fighter Posted: Jan 3rd 2010

hey, not sure if u remember me plasjas, but i remember u!

666joshy666 Posted: Jan 4th 2010

I remember my first model. Aah... The cheap almost gluey flair plasticine! Here is my first model:

concon Posted: Jan 4th 2010

crackingtoast Posted: Jan 4th 2010

well, joshy, flairs good for beginners, but it's best to move on to something steardier after.

Jamie Gomersall Posted: Jan 4th 2010

I use aardmacine

666joshy666 Posted: Jan 4th 2010

I agree, CT! You use what, Jamie?

crackingtoast Posted: Jan 4th 2010

aardmacine. oh yes,of course. and i'm john lennon.:D

Jamie Gomersall Posted: Jan 4th 2010

Stop being so sarci. Its annoying me.

666joshy666 Posted: Jan 4th 2010

I'm off! Your petty fights are getting on my nerves! Everytime you guys fight, I will go to another discussion! If it keeps happenening, I will have no choice but to report you both! :-(

crackingtoast Posted: Jan 4th 2010

it's was a joke, jamie. indicated by the smiley. wow,no need to swear.

shaun the lamb Posted: Jan 5th 2010

I have no idea what flair your using....
Flair is great I use it and I've been making models since I was 3...
It's not even close to gluey it's just like new plast if not better....

Clay Fighter Posted: Jan 5th 2010

i dont use flair but im sure its not gluey, maybe they have improved it since u made ur models 66joshy66

shaun the lamb Posted: Jan 5th 2010

Great models by the way.
TIPS FOR IMPROVEMENT:
Make the cheeks slightly smaller and the head a bit longer and eyes a bit smaller, and make them taller.
other than that, PERFECTIONS!

crackingtoast Posted: Jan 5th 2010

Yes STL,but models using flair won't stand up properaly and bits fall off. it's not really steardy enough for animation.

Clay Fighter Posted: Jan 5th 2010

well STL told me they can stand up long enough that he needs them to stand up for

shaun the lamb Posted: Jan 5th 2010

I have no idea what flair you guys have but bits hardly ever fall off of my models..
and it gets strong quite fast it only goest soft while you model with it.
My models can stand up for more than 3 minutes without any armature.
I can tell by the picture 666joshy666 took it looks like the plasticine he used was cheap and nothing like the one I use..
try and compare pictures:

crackingtoast Posted: Jan 5th 2010

flair is pretty cheap. don't be rude to 666joshy666,his model is great. i use newplast, which is miles better than flair. newplast is what aardman use.

Clay Fighter Posted: Jan 5th 2010

so are you being rude to stl's model saying its not good because aardman doesnt use it?
i think you have used a different type of flair!
because as you can tell from STL's model it works fine!
