Your wait is over! Beaver Creek Four is in the very early stages of development and writing. Right now the set is being completely refurbished, because it was getting very beaten up, and i am starting to come up with ideas, i will keep everyone posted on the progress.

VincentAnimations01 Posted: Oct 4th 2009

Good news! I've been waiting for this thread!:)
A refurbishment, what would that consist of?
Look forward to your updates Ian!

iantimothy Posted: Oct 4th 2009

puling up all of the turf, and putting new on, re-claying the creek, re-glueing the trees, and i have to order new armature feet for twigs.

Clay Fighter Posted: Oct 4th 2009

wooot!!!
Will the forest look the same just fresher or will it look completely renovated?

iantimothy Posted: Oct 5th 2009

no no.. it will look the same, i marked where all the trees are the creek will be the same, just fresher.

Clay Fighter Posted: Oct 5th 2009

oh lovely
cant wait!!

Purple&Brown Posted: Oct 5th 2009

You don't know how long I've been waiting for this thread!! Hehe! Can't wait top hear some updates, good luck on your set!

concon Posted: Oct 5th 2009

Cant wait . :)

Ursrut Posted: Oct 5th 2009

YAY!! sounds fantastic!

Purple&Brown Posted: Oct 11th 2009

How much of the set have you done?

iantimothy Posted: Oct 11th 2009

it's pretty much done already, just have to glue the rocks down now.

iantimothy Posted: Oct 12th 2009

UPDATE

the story almost complete and it's almost storyboard time, it should be pretty funny, I have to make only one set. I have decided i am going to re-animate the theme song, I have advanced enough that the episodes animation is much better than the theme song, and they should look the same so i believe it is time to redo it. "We hold these truths to be self evident, that all animation is created equal."

Clay Fighter Posted: Oct 13th 2009

sounds great!
You should make it a sing along with the subtitles down the bottom with a little thing following the words maybe.
Or just an improved version of the other.obviously your decision.

iantimothy Posted: Oct 13th 2009

it will be pretty much the same, there is something about the theme song that has a lot of charm, so i am going to reduplicate it pretty much frame by frame, just better.

iantimothy Posted: Oct 19th 2009

I am half way through shooting the new theme song! it is looking great, so much better, :D

VincentAnimations01 Posted: Oct 19th 2009

Great news! For a minute I thought you were about to say I am halfway through Beaver Creek 4!!! lol:D

concon Posted: Oct 19th 2009

Any news or pics ?

VincentAnimations01 Posted: Oct 28th 2009

Ian: what sort of armature do you use in twigs the beaver. Is it a ball and socket joint, do you use tie downs/magnets in the feet or do you just rely on the armature to keep him upright.

crackin cheese Posted: Oct 28th 2009

Got any script or story line

101Gromit Posted: Oct 29th 2009

Hey that sounds really good!I watched the Beaver Creek episodes yesterday, keep me updated!

Clay Fighter Posted: Nov 23rd 2009

I hope you dont mind but I gave my art teacher the name of green roots to watch because she is teaching Mixed Media Next year(which i am doing!!) and in the first 2 terms we do photography but then we do eithe lego or clay animation(she was telling me this in art 2day) and she asked me and the people i was sitting with if we like it or if we had dont any of it and i said theyre were sum good ones on youtube and she said she would have 2 see them so i told her them,I also told her i was making one and she asked me if i could have it done over the holdidays!!(Turns out she will also be my homeroom teacher next year!!!,all the year 8's r together for the first yr but then we r put in with 9's,10's,11's,12's and we stay in that homeroom till the end of school!)

So I hope you dont mind, i also gave her Green Roots , and i told her to take a look at my short scott the slug video, but i warned her it was bad!

iantimothy Posted: Nov 23rd 2009

sorry i havent been on in so long! i have started shooting, story and audio are done, and it is going good! and vincent in twigs is an armaverse ball and socket armature, and for some shot i will use a little bit of handitak to keep him standing up.
