iantimothy Posted: Feb 21st 2010

Glad you all liked it!!!
clayfighter you got specidic on me, hehe, so here are your answers

1. that is motion blur, to make it look like it is going fast.
2. That is actually a beaver joke, beavers keep an underwater food storage outside of their house incase they run out inside.
3. ooooooh..... the only way i can answer that is....... it is a cartoon.
4. not sure i will probably do i new one, no ideas yet.
5.yep my dad does all the voices, and the music
6. The snowman is a slight parody of the snowman in Rudolf the red nosed reindeer
7. that is a tricky one, i had a two foot slope, and when they got to the bottom i moved them back to the top, so yeah it is kinda looped

his favourite parts~
1.took a while to think of all those funny food puns
2.that was actually one of the hardest things to shoot in the whole episode
3. all i can say is, i cant believe you got the catiplliar thing!!!
4.that set was about 1' by 1' really small!

VincentAnimations01 Posted: Feb 21st 2010

Nice!:D
Any chance of some behind the scenes pics??

iantimothy Posted: Feb 21st 2010

sure! i got a good picture of the hill i used for the sledding scene. and some pictures of the rig that i used to make drake fly.

VincentAnimations01 Posted: Feb 21st 2010

Awesome! I'd be very interested to see them, the sledge scene was done really well. How many times did you have to loop it??

iantimothy Posted: Feb 21st 2010

i think i made them go down like 6 times, the slope was like 2 feet long.

Purple&Brown Posted: Feb 21st 2010

Do you use magnets or die towns to keep Twigs standing?

iantimothy Posted: Feb 21st 2010

sometimes i will use a little bit of handitak, the stuff that you use to hang posters and stuff, on his feet, but he is pretty well balanced

iantimothy Posted: Feb 21st 2010

Oh! and i don't know if any of you noticed but i re-did the theme song, you can compare it to the one on the other episodes it is much better.

nam man06 Posted: Feb 21st 2010

iantimothy Posted: Feb 21st 2010

here is a picture of the rig that i used to make drake fly, it is actually an old microphone stand with fishing wire attached to it.

iantimothy Posted: Feb 21st 2010

iantimothy Posted: Feb 21st 2010

and here is the slope, it is a piece of plywood held up by some books with a white sheet over it

iantimothy Posted: Feb 21st 2010

VincentAnimations01 Posted: Feb 21st 2010

Wow really cool. So how did you go about tracking the camera down the slope. Did you just alter the height and position of the tripod?

iantimothy Posted: Feb 21st 2010

thats exactly right.

Purple&Brown Posted: Feb 21st 2010
