wandgfan21 Posted: Nov 1st 2009

This year- Fantastic Mr Fox
Last year- A matter of loaf and death (Hopefully it will be nominated for and win an oscar)

crackingtoast Posted: Nov 14th 2009

Fantastic Mr Fox.
I Saw it Yesterday. It Had A Nice Style Of Animation,And It Was Good That It Kept True To The Original Book,But Added More Depth And Story. It Had Alot Of Great Moments And Was Quite Funny.

But I Would Critise The Fact All The Human Bad Guys Where British And All Animals Where American. That Seems A Bit Wierd And Kinda Stereotypical To Have The Farmers To Have Strong English Accents But It Kind Of Worked I Guess And Added A More Realistic Feel,Especially If You Live In The Country.
I Thought It Was A Bit Hard To Follow At The Start,Maybe A Bit Rushed,But Once The Story Kicked In It Was Great. Alot Of Bits Where Very Pointless.
AND It's Set In Britain Yet Mr Fox Has A Phobia Of Wolves And Sees One In A Field. Now That Really Miffed Me. It's An Extremely Stupid Mistake.

But It's The Animations,Story And Overall Excitment That I'm Looking For,And Fantastic Mr Fox Gave You All You Need Of That.

10/10

Mini-Review Period Over. Kachow.

Cameronl Posted: Nov 14th 2009

It reminded my mum of the animations she used to watch as a child.:D

wallyfans Posted: Nov 30th 2009

I saw it a couple days ago and it was AWSOME!!!!!

Clay Fighter Posted: Dec 3rd 2009

when i first saw the screen shots i thought it would look like CGI, but i have seen footage on tv and I love the style of animation,
From wjhat i think ive seen it looks like two rats pigging out ovcer food, it reminds MEE of the shows I used to watch like Okie doak, the wombles etc.

GREAT NEWS!!!
my mum said we could see it these holidays!!havenmt seen a movie in the cinema in ages!!And also i got a movie ticket voucher from secret santa that we did in my friend group soo know all i need is my mum or sum friends 2 go with...It would be awkward if i went by myself...

crackingtoast Posted: Dec 3rd 2009

Two Rats? Foxes. Hence Fantastic Mr FOX.

Clay Fighter Posted: Dec 4th 2009

Just because its title is fantastix mr.fox doesnt mean every character is a fox ct.
in charlie and the chocolate factory, is it just charlie and a chocolate factory??
nup.
the footage went for about 6 seconds and they were sitting down, wearing masks so in no way did they look like foxes.but yes, they could have been,p.s they were black

concon Posted: Dec 4th 2009

Thats there criminal masks. :L

crackingtoast Posted: Dec 5th 2009

Clay Fighter,I've Actually Seen The Film And Read The Book Serveral Times. The Characters You Likely To Be Talking About Are Kristofferson And Ash With Their Homemade Bandit Hats,I Can Tell. I Do Have Reason Behind What I Say.

Can You Please Stop Just Asking For An Argument? Think About The Reaction You'll Get Before Posting Something.

Clay Fighter Posted: Dec 5th 2009

where wa si trying to argue?,
like the mods say, we should take every comment as a nice one, hich is the way i was typing my comment, but i never said you havent seen, nor read the novel, i was just saying just because the title is fantastic mr.fox doesnt mean they r all foxes
ok so they are foxes, i was just saying, because i didnt have time to analyse them, they appeared as rats.

So do u guys reccomend reading the novel first?will i have to go over to the bookshop or library or not?

crackingtoast Posted: Dec 5th 2009

well, the story in the film is easy to follow without reading the book, and it kinda goes further than the book, but if you want to so you can compare them,go ahead.

Clay Fighter Posted: Dec 5th 2009

well i would like the book, coz i love roald dahl.........ill see, i might ask for it 4 xmas lol!!

concon Posted: Dec 5th 2009

crackingtoast Posted: Dec 8th 2009

Poison Ivy I Haven't Spoilt Anything. Believe Me. You Can Watch The Film And You'll Be Surprised. Please Don't Say You Want To Swear At Me,Because That Horrible. You'll Understand I'm Being Helpful If You See The Film. Not Very Nice,Is It?:-(

crackingtoast Posted: Dec 8th 2009

PoisonIvy Posted: Dec 9th 2009

Oh, now I know Jimbob the Rabbit gets stood on. I won't be coming back to this thread.

Clay Fighter Posted: Dec 9th 2009
