"I was actually warned off the stuff a while ago for health reasons, the simple fact is I'm just not mad about cheese. I'd much prefer a nice piece of cake.”

:O

Morph70 Posted: Nov 6th 2009

wandgfan21 Posted: Nov 6th 2009

To morph70- Peter sallis is the actor who does the voice for wallace.
And yes sorry seb, looks like jordan beat you to it!;) Wasn't it to do with unveiling some kind of W&G bus?

shaun the lamb Posted: Nov 6th 2009
:O

My goodness.

Clay Fighter Posted: Nov 7th 2009

Yeah,
sorry seb this is old news to the people who were here a few months back!

Jamie Gomersall Posted: Nov 7th 2009

I don't think it's that bad!

wandgfan21 Posted: Nov 7th 2009

Still interesting though. I cant stand wendsleydale either, it's to mild. But i like a nice bit of mature cheddar.;)

Seb Moderator Posted: Nov 7th 2009

Yes - it's old news for some, but as The Telegraph only reported it yesterday, and many wouldn't have heard it, I thought it worth mentioning!

Clay Fighter Posted: Nov 7th 2009

oh ok!

Fish Posted: Nov 10th 2009

Thanks, Seb - I missed Jordan's posting.

SockEyeSalmon Posted: Nov 10th 2009

So did I, Fish, old pal! How are you? Still chuffed to mintballs about the Almighty Nick Park answering your question the other day? :D

wandgfan21 Posted: Nov 10th 2009

Hmm seems strange for the telegraph to pick up on something so late, still interesting though.

SockEyeSalmon Posted: Nov 10th 2009

Do you think it makes him come out in a rash, wandgfan21 ?

Fish Posted: Nov 10th 2009

Yes, I am still MEGA chuffed to mintballs, dear SockEye!! |-) How are things with you? I've been down with an infection for a day or two, but I'm feeling better now. Are you fully recovered too?

SockEyeSalmon Posted: Nov 11th 2009

Hellooo, dear pal, Fish! Sorry to hear you have been unwell and I hope you will make a good recovery. Boy, I felt so chuffed, delighted and everything else when I heard Katie call your name out for your question to Nick.

I've been laid low again, confined to bed (and indoors) and my sister has been taking Nutmeg Blue out for her walkies. It's a relapse from my last bout of lurgi which, I'm told, is going to be part of the course for the rest of my life (but I'm being well looked after by the docs, which is very reassuring). Lots of prayers, rest, radio and W&G keep me going. Nutmeg B has been a very, very good dog keeping me company and snuggling up when I get upset. She sends lots of sniffs, licks, belly rubs to you and Ralphie ... plus cyber cookie bones!

And, no,people, it is not swine flu! >:-)

Fish Posted: Nov 12th 2009

I am praying you get well quickly, SockEye! Even though I had an infection and was put on antibiotics, my doctor insisted on giving me a swine flu vaccine shot. It is a serious threat here - and I just read that a cat in a neigbouring state has a confirmed case of H1N1.:O I hope Ralphie doesn't get it - or any other animal for that matter.

Ralphie sends his greetings to Nutmeg Blue, and thanks her for the cookie bones. He also said to tell her the following: "Snuff sneeze sneeze woof snuff". He ended his remarks with a series of 360 degree tail wags. He seems confident that Nutmeg Blue will understand. 8)

Grumblefish Posted: Nov 14th 2009

You know this actually reminds me of what I heard about a voice actor Mel Blanc who voiced Bugs Bunny in those old cartoons. You see Bugs always was munching on carrots and Mel Blanc was highly allergic to carrots.

kldceltic Posted: Nov 14th 2009

poor fish and sockeye:-(:'(

i have asthma which is bad:-(

Fish Posted: Nov 14th 2009

I have asthma too, kidceltic - which is why the doctor wanted me to have the vaccination.

Grumblefish, I never knew that about Mel Blanc - I LOVE those old cartoons, too.

Clay Fighter Posted: Nov 14th 2009

I have asthma too

Fish Posted: Nov 15th 2009

Sorry to hear that, Clay Fighter. Three asthmatic and fans! I wonder how many more there are...

Clay Fighter Posted: Nov 15th 2009

hm...
I wonder if Wallace is Asthmatic?
Also have you noticed in AGDO and TWT and also a little bit in TCS
Wallace often wipes his nose?
Its like he has some sort of allergy

Fish Posted: Nov 15th 2009

Hmmm...I never noticed that, Clay Fighter - you've just given me an excuse to watch all 3 of those adventures again! :D

Clay Fighter Posted: Nov 16th 2009

well Glad I could help FISH!
