You might have noticed that the merchandise section over on http://www.62westwallabystreet.co.uk is built to feature even more products than it shows at the moment. Well that's about to change!

Every day from now on we will be putting up a new review of a Wallace and Gromit product. We are starting by reviewing all the individual Robert Harrop figurines. As part of this we have also launched a new Robert Harrop Designs figurines section - see it here: http://www.62westwallabystreet.co.uk/content/view/449/67/

Once we've completed them we will move on to pretty much every Wallace and Gromit product on sale at the moment! When we've gone through most of the current Wallace and Gromit pieces we shall dive headfirst into the worlds of Timmy, Shaun, Morph and more!

The matter of how long this promotion will run depends on how successful it is, but keep checking back for everything coming up! Feedback will really help plan for the future!

To start with - the piece reviewed today is the Robert Harrop Designs 'A Grand Day Out' Wallace figurine. You can see the review here: http://www.62westwallabystreet.co.uk/content/view/450/67/

Enjoy!

Thanks for the feedback Concon!

AND THE REVIEW TODAY: Robert Harrop Kennel Club 'Good Citizen Scheme' Figurine.

Will the fact that the figure is smooth, without the usual Harrop 'thumbyness', mean that it won't rate as highly? Follow the link and find out...!

concon Posted: Mar 7th 2010

concon Posted: Mar 9th 2010

Okay thanks! :)

concon Posted: Mar 9th 2010

I wish they would release COTWR and Cracking Contraption Robert Harrop figures. They could two models next to each other on the smae base. I would like:

PC Mac and Rev Hedges
Mr and Mrs Mulch
Victor Quartermaine and Philip
Wallace and Gromit (Anti-Pesto Uniforms)
Lady Tottington holding Giant Carrot
and finally the Were Rabbit with maybe a few little bunnys around him.

Gromit lad Posted: Mar 9th 2010

Agreed. If only thr was a shop around me, id b the #1 customer..... hoping it would stay open noing tht thrs othr W&G fans living here to..... i hope......... yea aardmag!

Clay Fighter Posted: Mar 10th 2010

cool!

Seb Moderator Posted: Mar 10th 2010

We'll have to see what the future of the range holds!

I'd LOVE a special piece from 'A Close Shave' - the motorbike hiding behind the hedge (from the scene where Preston captures Wendolene) with Wallace and Gromit standing on it dressed as scarecrows!

It would be an expensive set - but it would just look incredible!

Gromits little bro Posted: Mar 11th 2010

Loving the reviews but I have suggestion.
Now I know that if regular people could submit their own reviews, you'd get tonnes of spam! But could we have a customer rating system where you can get an average of all the public's vote for a true picture of how well worth the product is. It's only a suggestion and you don't have to take it on, I just thought it would be a nice small interactive feature.

Seb Moderator Posted: Mar 11th 2010

Hi GLB,

That's true - I'd love more user reviews, but it would mean much more work!

However as to user ratings.. That's something we have! Above all individual items (or, at least, it should be there!) is a little ranking thing where you can rate any item out of 5.

I know it's not very clear, and I'm working on that, but for now that's how we're measuring what users think of the items. Plus you can always leave a comment.

Thanks for the feedback anyway - please do keep it coming!

kldceltic Posted: Mar 12th 2010

ur site's slow:-(

Seb Moderator Posted: Mar 12th 2010

KLDCeltic - the site is having a few problems at the moment with slowness. It's been fine most of the day, and seems to be fine now, but we are working on that problem!

Review of Yesterday!

Wallace and Gromit Pen in Tin: http://www.62westwallabystreet.co.uk/content/view/468/67/

concon Posted: Apr 29th 2010

Great! Are all the Robert Harrop figures done now?

Seb Moderator Posted: Apr 29th 2010

I've only got to cover the two new 'Wrong Trousers' pieces, but my budget is tied up elsewhere at the moment (I don't know how much something else will cost, so am not spending much at the moment) so I'm waiting to be able to afford them!

If anyone wants to donate £100 to cover them...!! ;)

As to the rest of the merchandise I'll be reviewing... Look out for a big news story from us tomorrow!
