I love Bitzer Posted: Apr 17th 2010

Hmm...I think many of the people who work for Aardman anytime got to know Nick Park in person!
And because katie works at Aardman for a long time and has an important part she maybe has met him anytime.....but let's see what she'll answer

Gromit lad Posted: Apr 17th 2010

MotionMe Posted: Apr 17th 2010

MotionMe Posted: Apr 17th 2010

I have one, who got the signed rocket drawing? :O

concon Posted: Apr 18th 2010

Some guy who isn't even on the forum as far as I know. I'll check my emails. :)

MotionMe Posted: Apr 18th 2010

thanks concon :D

katie Aardman Staff Posted: Apr 19th 2010

@Gromit lad - I got to know him through work - he has an office in the same building as me so he's often in the canteen getting a cuppa tea :) He knows all about the website and all the kinds of stuff you guys talk about on here. Since it was coming up to 20 years of W&G we thought it would be a nice celebration to get you guys to submit your questions to him :)

In regards to the Wii - I don't think there's any plans to release a W&G adventure just yet, but as always we'll keep you posted!

@MotionMe - Stephen Power was our original winner, but we never heard back from him and had to re-draw. Matt Price from the UK was then picked as our lucky winner.

concon Posted: Apr 19th 2010

Thats who I was thinking!

concon Posted: Apr 19th 2010

@Katie - Maybe you could ask Nick to make an account on the site whenever he isn't busy. :D

crackingtoast Posted: Apr 19th 2010

That would be awesome!

Here's a question:
Will there be any more competions like the rocket sketch competion soon or anything big happening with the site?

and also, where has seb gone recently?

Gromit lad Posted: Apr 19th 2010

haha, a cuppa tea. your practically famous, oh, and im on the website on the wii.... so i guess that makes w&g on it..... wer 2 nxt? ........ Just to keep this topic going, does Park have a profile here?
lad has a lot of questions....

concon Posted: Apr 20th 2010

Do you know Harriet who done the "Make A Bunny" special featrure on COTWR dvd?

katie Aardman Staff Posted: Apr 20th 2010

@concon + Gromit lad I believe he has an account, but he's not as technically-savvy as you guys ;) I think he's more at home making things with his hands!

@concon I don't think I know Harriet, although there are 2 different Aardman offices so maybe she works in the other one!

@CT - there's more exciting things to come! There's a new game INCREDIBLY close to launching. It's a big puzzle game, will take you a few hours to complete I reckon. And of course World of Invention later in the year, plus more competitions, new merchandise and something VERY top secret planned for Christmas. ;)

And Seb's still around, he's busy working on some other projects at the moment but he's said that he will be back soon!

I love Bitzer Posted: Apr 20th 2010

OH, that's so exciting ;)
You say there are sooo many new things coming soon! By now I'll have a look at this site every day
:D

concon Posted: Apr 20th 2010

Thanks!

ClashOfTheTitans1981Rocks Posted: Apr 20th 2010

How INCREDIBLY close to launching is this new game Katie?

MotionMe Posted: Apr 20th 2010

I have one, can you buy a "wallace" or "gromit" clay model?

kldceltic Posted: Apr 21st 2010

yh he said he will back at the end of this week i got an email from seb :):D

crackingtoast Posted: Apr 21st 2010

Wow! That new game sounds brilliant! I really can't wait now!

MotionMe Posted: Apr 21st 2010

MotionMe Posted: Apr 22nd 2010

will you respond kate?

ajmole Posted: Apr 22nd 2010

It's katie....

KirstenW Aardman Staff Posted: Apr 23rd 2010

All we can say for now is that it'll be launching very soon! :D

MotionMe Posted: Apr 23rd 2010

thanks
KirstenW :)|-)

MotionMe Posted: Apr 24th 2010

any more? :-|

Gromit lad Posted: Apr 24th 2010

Not on my mind right nnow, but I hope they dont release any sneak peaks of the game. They usually show off so much of the game then needed.... thus, ruining the surprise........

Ooh! Heeeres one, @Seb, @Katie, @Kirsten....
HAve you ever tried to make a wallace and gromit?

MotionMe Posted: Apr 24th 2010

oh yes have you?

KirstenW Aardman Staff Posted: Apr 26th 2010

That's something I haven't tried yet, although I'd definitely like to! We're usually so busy looking after the sites we never have time...and if we did I can't promise our models would be up to the Aardman standard! ;)

MotionMe Posted: Apr 26th 2010

ok

teapot mate Posted: Apr 26th 2010

hi guys

MotionMe Posted: Apr 26th 2010

hello |-)

I love Bitzer Posted: Apr 27th 2010

@Kirsten or katie:
Do you two also have the chance to see the modell makers or animators by their work? Or have you ever visited them and had a look at all those scenerie?

KirstenW Aardman Staff Posted: Apr 27th 2010

Yes, I was lucky enough to be shown around all the Shaun the Sheep sets for series 2 which was brilliant. We also have bits of sets around our main aardman building including the Windmill version of 62 West Wallaby Street from AMOLAD!

I love Bitzer Posted: Apr 27th 2010

Wow, that sounds great

I'd love to see the West Wallaby Street every day when going to lunch or to work/school
:D

I love Bitzer Posted: Apr 28th 2010

Sorry, the false thread and comment

MotionMe Posted: Apr 28th 2010

that's cool
KirstenW

Seb Moderator Posted: Apr 28th 2010

@I Love Bitzer - I was with KirstenW on the day, it was amazing! You can see my photos in this Aardmag issue : http://www.62westwallabystreet.co.uk/content/view/444/87/

@Gromit lad - I have! I've made two Gromits in my time, and one Wallace. The second Wallace and Gromit (along with Feathers McGraw and Preston) were made when I reviewed the great 'Plasticine Kit' from Flair. Expect to see the review on my site soon - and I will put up a photo of my models! :O;)

I've also made a Morph from the 'Make Your Own Morph' kit, hope to make a Chas soon!

Outside of kits I have made the main cast of Rex the Runt - Rex, Vince, Bad Bob, Wendy, Doctor Dogg, and Arthur Dustcart. I had some pictures of them to show here actually, but my computer lost them! Haven't got round to taking new photos yet!!

I love Bitzer Posted: Apr 28th 2010

Wow, great! Thanks for the link, Seb, I've again not got this Aardmag by mail!

Seb Moderator Posted: Apr 28th 2010

That's quite alright - we're getting the mailing list fixed so you'll get them all in the future!

I love Bitzer Posted: Apr 28th 2010

Wow, great! That to sounds good, do I then have to give you my address again?

Seb Moderator Posted: Apr 28th 2010

Nope - it will automatically work! You won't need to send it again.

Expect to hear more about the Aardmag soon everyone...!

Anyway - back on topic! ;)

MotionMe Posted: Apr 28th 2010

coooool :O

I love Bitzer Posted: Apr 29th 2010

MotionMe Posted: May 1st 2010
