Hi, last week (at the lowlands festival in the netherlands) I noticed a piece of wallpaper on a container (bookshop). The wallpaper was page 97 of a book about creating gromit... both text and pictures (black and white). Does anybody know what book that is taken from and where to buy it?
regards michiel, the netherlands

I really don't know! I've got almost every Wallace and Gromit book out and none fit this description! Are you sure it was page 97?!

Hi Michiel, after doing some investigating I think the page you were looking at was from "Cracking Animation: The Aardman Book of 3D Animation".

The first part of the book describes Aardman's achievements and the history of the studio. The main part of the book takes you through the animation process from storyboarding, to model making, to filming.

It's a really nice book if you're interested in animation with lots of tips and great photos - although it's worth mentioning that the section on making Gromit is an overview rather than a step-by-step guide.

You should be able to buy the book from Amazon: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Cracking-Animation-Aardman-Book-3-D/dp/050051190X/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/202-1080379-2435808?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1188385329&sr=8-1

Or if you want to try and order it from a book shop, the ISBN number is 050051190X

Hope this helps!

Of course! That's the one book I didn't think of!

I've read it and it's an amazing guide to animation. Perfect for all fans!
